What is Spot UV Gloss?

Spot UV Varnish is a print finishing process, whereby specific parts of the business card are highlighted with a clear gloss varnish liquid. If you imagine gloss lamination, it is a similar effect but only on certain parts of the printed material. When combined with either a silk coated card or better yet a matt laminated material, only then will it truly shine and sparkle.
